We went for a Wednesday night date night and thoroughly enjoyed our experience here! Oysters were excellent, entrees were great and dessert was good. Service was attentive and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend this place if you’re in the Galveston area.
We ate here for the first time today and it was fantastic! We loved the lobster spring rolls. I had the cioppino and my husband had the Chilean sea bass, both were absolutely delicious. We had the creme brulee for dessert, the sugar needed to be dissolved a bit more but it was yummy. We definitely recommend and will be back. You really need to make reservations to eat dinner there. Our waiter, David, was hilarious, we really enjoyed his service.
Food and service was great. Enjoyed the jumbo lump crabcake as there was more meat than filler and large enough for two. Giant Shrimp & Grits was my main meal. Would I visit again - YES.

Shared fresh oysters on the half shell for an appetizer - heaven! Had the fresh sea scallops for the main course. The scallops were cooked PERFECTLY & the vegetables & fingerling potatoes were fresh & tasty. You could not ask for a better meal & service. The wine & and after dinner cappuccinos finished it off. Thank you Saltwater Grill!
Our Bartender Shawn was amazing ! Told us some history about the Island, served us some tasty drinks, and suggested wonderful food items. We will definitely be back
If you were looking for an upscale dinner experience on Galveston Island I recommend the Saltwater Grill. Each of our dishes was prepared just right and delicious. The fish is definitely a specialty of theirs and that also includes their shrimp and crawfish appetizer. To cap it all off, our waiter, David, was an absolute joy. He not only kept us entertained through the whole meal, but also made sure everything that we needed was taken care of.
Came in for a cruise and someone local recommended us to come here for a good steak! And they did not disappoint! Delicious!! So glad we came!
